Dear Swimmers and Parents:

The Tom Sawyer Swim Team is gearing up for the 2008 season!   

Practice begins on Tuesday, May 27 from 6:30-8:30 PM and will continue in the evening until Friday May 30 for all ages. From June 2nd – July 18th practice for 11 and up will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 AM, and practice for 10 and under will be held from 8:15 to 9:00 AM, except for Tuesday mornings, when practice for all ages will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 AM.

Five dual or tri meets have been scheduled on Monday evenings:  Monday, June 9, 16, 23, 30, & July 7.  Another meet could possibly be scheduled later.  Picture Day will be on Friday, June 13th at 7:15 am. Rain Date will be June 18th.  Qualification meets will be held July 14th & 16th.  The Championship meet will be held on Sunday, July 20th.

A Parent Meeting is scheduled Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 PM.  It is very important that at least one parent attend.  Consult your calendars and be ready to sign up to help at meets.  We are expecting parents to volunteer for at least 3 meets this season.  We will also answer any questions you may have and present some fundraising ideas.

Registration fees are $110 per swimmer, with a discount for swimmers in the same family, as explained on the Parent Agreement form included.  Registrations, Parent Agreement forms, and checks may be mailed to TSST, c/o Dianne Lavenson 1910 Balfour Dr, Louisville, 40242 or brought to the first practice.  No swimmer enters the pool until forms are received and the fee is paid in full.
