Hello Ducks,

I would like to welcome everybody back for another fun and exciting swim season. This will be my eighth season as the head coach of the Tom Sawyer swim team. I would be remised if I did not start off by thanking all of the members of the swim team board. Because of their hard work the Sawyer swim team is the best team in the LSA league.

I would like to remind every parent that this is a team made up of volunteers. It is up to all of us to volunteer our time at swim meets and other swim team functions to make this year run smoothly. So make sure you sign-up to help out.

I am very excited to see everybody again this summer. I am looking forward to another spectacular swim season. With all three of our coach’s returning for another season this should be our best season yet. Once again, Lauren will be working with the 6 and unders and some of the 8 and unders. I will continue working with the 11 year olds and up and Hamilton Lyons will work with 10 and unders and some of the 8 and unders. With the success we had during the Tuesday clinics, we will continue this again this year.

Keep an eye on the calendar, you will soon see dates for the team’s annual Holiday World day and a night at a Bats game. These two trips are a great way for the kids to get to know each other outside of the swimming pool.

Remember to be safe, enjoy yourself as well as others, and be sure to have fun this summer.
